Donation to bloomkiDz gala

Recently I was invited to donate a pendant to the Bloomkidz Gala in Phoenix, which benefited children with autism and other related neurodevelopmental issues. This piece designed in silver and copper features turquoise, faceted peridot and a AAA blue fluorite, along with a small designer shell.

This pendant is actually my first in some time. I am now back designing after a few years’ hiatus due to my husband’s illness and passing in December 2022.

I’m also working on another pendant in lapis lazuli, copper, silver and opals, and some lovely earrings in 14k gold with fire opals and citrine. I’m getting my fingers and hands moving in muscle memory for design work before starting on commissions that are waiting. I’ll only post completed commission photographs with permission since some may be surprise gifts for friends and family.

I’ve been rock shopping! Oh, glorious days to go shop for rocks! Those of you who love gemstones will understand, I’m sure. These lovelies are just a few in one tray!

I’ll start posting weekly photos of works in progress. You know I don’t intend on anything being traditional. I study architecture when I’m sparking that mysterious flash fire to create!

Thank you to all my collectors and friends who have been waiting patiently for me to feel spring rising again in my designer’s brain!
